Brandon lost his leg above the knee at the age of eighteen due to Ewing’s Sarcoma. He became the first amputee helped by Amputee Blade Runners in 2010 when he was a student at Vanderbilt University. Since then, Brandon has completed triathlons, half-marathons, and other running events as a part of the ABR team. He continues to remain active through running, biking, snowboarding, and kitesurfing. Brandon is an expert on prosthetic knee joints and has extensive industry knowledge as Co-Founder and CEO of LegWorks, a social enterprise that makes high-functioning prosthetic knee joints accessible globally. His motivation is to help give others the opportunity he was given, of a full and active life despite their amputation.
