Jennifer Fitzsimmons

Jennifer is a workout enthusiast who loves weight lifting, swimming, running, triathlons and chasing her four young children. She has been part of ABR since its inception but formally joined the board in 2017. She is passionate about providing amputees an opportunity to participate in life to the fullest extent desired, while providing education and support to empower both athletes and their families. Jennifer graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelors of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering as well as a Masters of Nursing. She is a board certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and practices as a Critical Care Nurse Practitioner at Vanderbilt University Hospital in the Intensive Care Unit and on the Critical Care Outreach Team.
