Josh Ahlstrom

Josh Ahlstrom, CPO/LPO is an ABC Certified and Licensed Prosthetist/Orthotist with 20 years of clinical experience. He has spent the last 15+ years focused specifically on providing exceptional care for children with a vast array of pathologies and presentations. Josh currently acts as the Senior Director of Global Development of Surestep. He is highly regarded by his peers and routinely provides education, consulting and mentoring throughout the United States and abroad. He first became involved with ABR in 2010, when one of his young amputees needed assistance gaining access to a running prosthesis. After that experience he quickly became an advocate for ABR, sharing his personal attestation to the tremendous service they provide amputees wanting to pursue an active lifestyle. Over the years he continued to bring more of his own patients to ABR to give them the greatest chance of chasing their dreams. In 2020 Josh joined the board to continue to raise awareness and advocate for ABR in the O&P community. His passion for building relationships, developing teams, and helping others continues to drive him to this day. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring the great State of Michigan, and beyond, with his wonderful wife and their three children.
